Overview

The YD-Explorer 450 packs the full research toolchain — PX4, ROS 2, RTK positioning and an optional onboard AI computer — into a quick-folding frame that fits a backpack. It is the platform we recommend for courses, field experiments and any payload under 1.5 kg.

Arms fold and lock without tools, and the battery tray accepts any 6S pack from 6,000 to 10,000 mAh so you can trade hover time for payload without changing the airframe.
