Export compliance policy

Who we can sell to, what our products may be used for, and what we ask from institutional buyers — stated plainly, because procurement and compliance offices deserve a straight answer.

Our commitment

YivaDrone complies with the export control laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China — including the Export Control Law of the PRC and the Regulations on Export Control of Dual-Use Items — as well as applicable sanctions and export-control requirements of other relevant jurisdictions. This policy applies to every product and service offered through yivadrone.com.

Restricted destinations and parties

We do not sell, ship, or re-export — directly or indirectly — to:

  • countries or regions subject to comprehensive sanctions or arms embargoes;
  • entities or individuals listed on applicable restricted-party or sanctions lists;
  • buyers whom we know, or have reasonable grounds to believe, intend to supply any of the above.

Every order is screened against applicable restricted-party lists, and we may request documentation verifying the identity and status of the end user before shipment.

Permitted end use: civil research and education only

Our platforms are intended for civil scientific research and educational use: robotics and flight-control research, SLAM and sensing experiments, multi-agent swarm algorithm development, and university teaching laboratories.

They may not be used for any military end use or by military end users — including weapons development, military equipment or platforms, military training, or any application prohibited under applicable law.

End-user and end-use statement

For orders shipped outside mainland China — and for any order where we consider further verification appropriate — we may ask the buyer to provide a short end-user and end-use statement confirming:

  • the legal name and address of the purchasing institution;
  • the intended application of the products;
  • that the products will not be re-exported or transferred in violation of applicable export control rules.

For university and institute buyers this is a one-page formality signed by a department representative; we provide a template so it does not slow down procurement.

Your responsibilities as a buyer

The buyer is responsible for ensuring that any onward use, resale, re-export, or transfer of the products complies with the export control and sanctions rules that apply in the buyer's jurisdiction.

Enhanced screening

We apply additional scrutiny — and may decline an order — where diversion risk is elevated. Warning signs include: vague or inconsistent end use; reluctance to identify the end user; requests to split a shipment between unrelated consignees; requests to ship to intermediary or transit addresses that do not match the purchasing institution.

Right to decline

Compliance with export control regulations is a condition of sale. We reserve the right to decline, pause, or cancel any order or shipment at any time where we believe an export compliance risk exists, and to end business relationships accordingly — without liability on our part.

Questions before ordering

If you are unsure whether any of the above affects your intended order, write to usby email before placing it — you will get a concrete answer within one business day. For how orders, payment and delivery work, see ordering & payment.
