About the Zhiqun RMTT
The Zhiqun RMTT is an indoor multi-agent swarm formation platform built from two kinds of agents: compact RMTT quadcopters (based on the Robomaster TT) and Sunray-wheeltec unmanned ground vehicles. Fleets of drones and ground robots share one positioning and control framework, so formation algorithms span the air and the ground in a single experiment.
At the core of the platform is a high-precision optical motion-capture system that measures the real-time 3D pose of every agent in the room. That ground truth closes the control loop, keeping multiple aircraft and vehicles stably coordinated indoors where GPS is unavailable — the same setup used by university multi-agent research labs.
The platform ships with rich secondary-development examples and a concise swarm-control ground station. Typical teaching and research tasks include swarm formation control, path planning, target recognition and mission decision, all of which can be rehearsed in the Gazebo simulation environment before running on the real fleet.
Product highlights
Heterogeneous swarm
One fleet, two kinds of agents — RMTT quadcopters and Sunray-wheeltec ground vehicles flying and driving coordinated missions together.
Motion-capture precision
A high-accuracy optical motion-capture system delivers real-time 3D pose for every agent indoors, closing the control loop for stable multi-agent flight.
ORCA formation & avoidance
ORCA-based swarm formation with dynamic obstacle avoidance and return-to-home behaviors, ready for distributed-control research.
Gazebo simulation
Verify formation, planning and decision algorithms in the Gazebo simulation environment before committing battery cycles to real flight.
Zhiqun ground station
A concise swarm-control ground station for fleet management, mission commands and live agent status.
20+ teaching examples
Ready-made example programs cover swarm control, path planning, target recognition and mission decision — a complete course path out of the box.
